metalicwx366
Just saw a shelf cloud on the storm to the south with the severe thunderstorm warning. Currently very dark and windy with the outflow boundary. Had a crazy storm earlier at 1pm. Very heavy rain and wind earlier. Edit: Best storm of the year right now. Flooded and winds of 45-50mph. Power just cut back on. Under a special weather statement. Now winds sustained at 24 gusting to 32mph with light rain and thunder.
nrgjeff
Those cells had weak mid-level rotation yesterday (Aug 15). With surface winds veered and marginal winds aloft we can be thankful TOR did not verify.
