CT Rain
I mentioned this in the main ATL thread in the other forum yesterday morning, didn't hear any comments. Possible home-brew next week? That U/L seems to hang around off the SE coast and I see a little sfc/mid reflection going on by 168hr on the Euro. Maybe something to watch? wx is sooo boring right about now.. Interesting thought. GFS/Euro keep it lingering around near the Bahamas. Will have to watch to see what happens.

Mr Torchey
Kevin must have wood (ha ha) the longer leslie stays weak the further west she will ride on the low level westerlies. Interesting.
Ginx snewx
Kevin must have wood (ha ha) the longer leslie stays weak the further west she will ride on the low level westerlies. Interesting. VISIBLE FIXES GIVE A MOTION OF ABOUT 295/16. THERE IS NO CHANGE TO THE SYNOPTIC REASONING AS LESLIE SHOULD TURN TO THE NORTHWEST BY LATE TOMORROW AS IT MOVES AROUND A WEAKENING RIDGE OVER THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC OCEAN. THE GLOBAL MOTION ARE THEN CONSISTENT ABOUT THE CYCLONE TURNING BY EARLY TUESDAY DUE TO A BREAK IN THE RIDGE. THE NEW NHC FORECAST CONTINUES TO SHIFT THE TRACK A BIT FASTER AND LEFT OF THE PREVIOUS ONE THROUGH THE FIRST FEW DAYS. THE LONG RANGE FORECAST IS UNCERTAIN BECAUSE IT INVOLVES THE INTERACTION OF MANY FEATURES...INCLUDING THE REMNANTS OF ISAAC...A CUTOFF LOW OFFSHORE OF FLORIDA...AND A WEAK RIDGE OVER THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC. GIVEN THE UNCERTAINTY...THE OFFICIAL FORECAST IS TRENDED TOWARD THE MODEL CONSENSUS...WHICH ENDS UP BEING A BIT SLOWER AND WEST OF THE PREVIOUS FORECA

CT Rain
Yep and Birvings Bob is an extremely long shot.. First noreaster of the season, week 3? Yeah tropical season is so short around here you can look at the pattern next 10-15 days and say "meh".

Oct can be interesting, too. The KFS may show a Carol redux, but yeah, it's probably ovah.

Yeah October is good for remnants or a good ET storm. I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually got a legit cane in here during the first week of October though. Gloria was a couple days away from doing it.

Well yeah, any TC is a long shot up here. I do like seeing stalled fronts over the GS with mid-upper disturbances cutting off/separating. Better than tracking a f'ing 7 day Cape Verde recurve, no? If we can get an Oct. snowstorm of 20-30" here, we can get a Saxbys Gale. Maybe in 2112.

CT Rain
I know. What a waste. We should watch anything near Florida or the Bahamas. Could have something brewing down there that would certainly be more interesting to watch than Leslie.

eekuasepinniW
The Euro is just a beautiful SNE hurricane setup. Leslie is about 1000 miles too far east though. These words hurt me. I'm starting to get the idea that rooting for a hurricane with enough pizazz to be interesting in central New Hampshire just isn't a worthwhile use of my time.
