HILLSBORO BY 605 PM EDT...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

WHEN A TORNADO WARNING IS ISSUED BASED ON DOPPLER RADAR...IT MEANS

THAT STRONG ROTATION HAS BEEN DETECTED IN THE STORM. A TORNADO MAY

ALREADY BE ON THE GROUND...OR IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SHORTLY. IF YOU

ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS DANGEROUS STORM...MOVE INDOORS AND TO THE

LOWEST LEVEL OF THE BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. IF DRIVING...DO

NOT SEEK SHELTER UNDER A HIGHWAY OVERPASS.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A

Nope not at all, it is remnants from Tropical system Helene and an Upper level low swinging through.

I asked because I noticed that the radar was unbroken all the way down off the NC coast, so I took a look at the water vapor loop. From that, it looked like the moisture feed for this is "connected" to the northernmost moisture from Isaac. Thus the question.

No problem, Im not sure if that was 100% right, I heard someone say some remnants of Heleen got sucked into it and then the ULL was the main culprit, but it kind of makes sense since these are Tropical like in nature.

Yeah, Ian mentioned that it's partially the mid-level remnants of Helene. I thought it interesting that there seemed some sort of connection between this and Isaac, but if not, then it's just coincidental. Cool by me.

Its actually the remnants of Katrina on its 1000th trip around the globe.
