There's actually more instability right now than models were forecasting. Though we might mix out this afternoon and we don't have a ton of moisture to start with. Cu are going up along the eastern ridges so I think we'll see storms try at least.

But it will be tough getting our de-wreck-0. I'M bummed about not reaching 95. That probably will preclude us breaking the record.

Yeah... I think we could get a heatwave in Sept but not sure we'll get any more 95+ at this rate.

Looking at radar and considering this season's trends ... SOUTH PA FTW?

southeast pa is the only area that looks "good" for severe wx right now. the area east of the storms looks pretty meh into our area.. but im not sure they'll weaken per se.

We got 0.48" from the pre-frontal showers that came through just after lunchtime. A nice soaker spread over an hour. No wind or lightning. Currently a cool 69 degrees with an overcast sky.

Ohhhhh I would love that. Give my a/c a break and water my plants for me. Please mother nature. Need your services today. Thanks.

Yeah, we needed the rain too...the grass was browning again after greening up with July's deluge. Still need the a/c though. The dry air hasn't filtered in yet...DP is hanging at 69...feels damp outside. I see DPs in the 50s over in Ohio. Hopefully that air mass will move in tonight. Perfect though for the first HS soccer game tonight.

Driest Jan-Aug is definitely in play. Maybe we will luck out Monday.

Some newer stuff starting to form on the eastern edge of the poorer airmass.. not getting much vertical tho.
