A small line to the west out in Woodstock is starting to bubble up nice. I expect this bubble to really get ramped up and move west. Should move through later this evening. Actually see 4 nice cells building. Possibly Strong to Severe with this daytime heat!!!

svr warned cell crossing into DE has some rotation. tho that's on the backside of the higher shear from the morning wave which should keep moving offshore the rest of the day.

nam still has a big cell or cluster moving across n md centered on 0z.. dc fringed.. which seems an ok bet at this pt. still get an ehi/srh spike between 0-3z dc to balt but not sure it matters much.

i see the amwx chase crew near the gettysburg storm.. hopefully they don't follow it.

edit: i guess it's in a decent spot parameter wise but it doesnt look too good on radar

The convection was pretty and it had a decent base, but we hung south of it because we had a feeling it wouldn't make it. We'll try to track the nearest svr-warned storms as they come up towards 70.

Looks like the storms are splitting up and going around my area of Primce Williamn County!

There are no storms in PW county, VA at this time..

I guess you are talking about the storms to the west...but those are too far out to make a call like this...they might not even make it here for any of us....
