(Woah that was close) very windy, heavy rain, 2 rounds of slightly larger than pea size hail and very vivid lightning. Couple of peach trees in the orchard behind my property are snapped off. Tree branches down all over my yard. Waiting for power to come back to see how high the gusts were on the VP2. Somebody is getting multiple inches 5 miles to our SE. I got 0.15" from the small storm this morning. Listening to police/fire scanner and I heard discussion about roof fire under control. Not sure if related to storm but I did also hear lots of sirens. BlizzardNole Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 MAN am I happy -- I was certain we would get through yet another high/categorical chance of t-storms tomorrow with like 0.15" if we were lucky, and here come these surprise pulsers with over an inch and still raining!
