People here post at multiple boards. Hell, for all we know somebody could be posting at blackpanthers.com or KKK.org. That's their choice and even if we knew that, we wouldn't ban them, as long as they kept it off our board. Let me make it clear again, you can post wherever you chose. My question was for me and personal and is in no way connected to American Wx. I'm sorry to staff that I even brought the connotation of some secret gestapo on them. Scott, you know I have no problem with you. I can't nor do I intend to try to control where people post. But you have to understand my situation here. Pete and I had our differences like normal people did....we traded relatively innocuous blows and that was that. I constantly defended his right to stay here, even when most of the staff wanted to toss him. He constantly spreads this lie and misconception that I was behind his banning or that I wanted him immediately gone. This is not true and I can prove it. Then it got ugly, probably around the time he called me coward. But even pales in comparison to what's going on over there now. You know it, I know it, and people who have seen the stuff there know it. Call us facist over here, or Nazi like and secretive, but I'd rather be that than permit people to openly call other's n*ggers, faggots and other racial names, joke about them having HIV and other jokes relating to it, insinuate pedophilia and lastly but most importantly, bringing my kids into the whole thing. I can accept some people over there are just...well, vile and I know it doesn't extend to you or every person who posts there. I get that. But I've been friends with some of these people long before Pete even came onto the scene. And some of them said nothing while this was going on. Thankfully, a few did. If I didn't consider these folks friends (offline), then it would just be the run of the mill stupid board drama. Some of you got caught in the crossfire, some didn't even know this vileness was going on. Some still don't. It is what it is. Going by the nature of the stuff that goes on over there, I hope you and others can understand why I feel the way I do. So to summarize, there is no blacklist of any member who posts there or anywhere they want for that matter. Nobody's getting banned (or else they would have already been banned based on answers from yesterday). This is a personal matter and I probably shouldn't have used this thread for it. thanks Randy. I certainly had nothing to do with anything like that. Pete personally went after Randy's family and you still consider him a friend. Sorry, but I draw the line there and support Randy 100% in this. A problem that I have in my professional life is I have no filter on what I say. I guess it's good to know that I am not the only one. LOL, it's all good...you are certainly entitled to do what you want. I like the board and I guess as a met...I feel like it's a good source all around. Randy is speaking as an individual, not an admin. he wants to know why you guys are supporting the garbage at marge's board. it's kind of telling that this has been explained several times and some people still don't get it. Why do you assume that just because someone goes into that board that they automatically rush to the crappy off topic forums or other forums for that matter? I have been with this board for almost 2 years and have never been to some of the forums here. If one doesn't open that door, why would they have any say in the matter? And please, don't come back and say, It's Kev's or any one elses responsibility to know what negative things are being said by the 4 or so people in their crap spewing part of the forum. That is like saying, Well, Kev since you don't know what I'm talking about, why don't you go back and read all of that nasty stuff and tell me, why aren't you shunning those people?, etc. Not all 100 plus people or whatever the number is that are registered need to make the personal attacks their business and it's not fair to bully them to be involved. You're probably right, and OT does cause about 90% of the drama here, but at this point, I don't think we can get rid of it. As for the drama with this, I didn't choose to be a part of that. And even now, I'm giving Pete a heavy heavy (to use a SNE term) dose of excitement by even talking about this, because I know he reads this forum. They tried to bait me into coming over there with spewing hate about my kids, racial epithets and all kinds of other vile stuff, but I didn't and I still won't, no matter what they through at me. And your post lets me know I should have slowed down and thought about things...there are some of you who don't even know the bile that goes on over there because you mainly post in weather. Not knowing is one thing....knowing and participating in it is another. For 90% of the people here, it's a non issue because I don't know them all that well. My issue came with people I considered friends. Yeah yeah, it's just a board people like to say. The extent to which my kids were brought into this is a lot more than you are telling, and there are many people who can verify this. Secondly, why would I be taking flak for a picture I did not post, did not authorize to be posted and had nothing to do with? And the trash talk about me, my kids and my parenting skills continued AFTER they knew the screen name was not me and I did not post that pic. At any rate, this goes way beyond posting some pic. Nobody was defriended on face book simply for being friends with Pete. Scott et al are still there and they're friends with Pete. I hold nothing against anybody for simply being friends with Pete. I wanted to clear the misconception that the staff was punishing people for posting at another board and to clarify why I asked what I asked. And now, here we are. I mean this, I'm really sorry for inconveniencing you and other SNE'rs with this stuff, but I'm not going to let it go until things are spelled completely out.
