CoastalWx
My guess is they die out in Litchfield Cty somewhere..but maybe leave a boundary for tomorrow? Tomorrow might feature a slug of rain and embedded thunder moving up from NJ late day. I suppose if there is enough sun..maybe western areas again can get stronger storms. CoastalWx
So pouring rain between 5:00:-9:00 tomorrow evening? It may hold off until evening, but should be a good slug. Some models shove heaviest rain east but I think we have a shot at a period of heavy rains. 5-9 might be a good starting point. Maybe earlier in spots near you and west. powderfreak
Sultan of Sandbags type rainfall training across eastern NY into central VT. Radar indicating amounts of 1-2" per hour in that line. BTV radar showing spot 4" amounts in the southern Champlain Valley on the NY/VT border.

radiator
Well, that was sure a dud - bright red on the radar, heading towards Fairfield County from Westchester, reports of hail and 40mph winds and impressive rainfall, when all of a sudden it fizzles out as if somebody turned off the switch... It still should be a decent water event for the flora and fauna... i wouldn't get too caught up on the actual QPF values haha. It just looks good and moist for New England

It just looks good and moist for New England We could use it for sure. There was not a drop here today. Ideally a nice prolonged ra/ra- to really soak the soil. HIPPYVALLEY
Scott, I'm going to Falmouth with the family for next week, any thoughts on the long range for CC? Sunny for the beach would be nice but I'd also be alright with cloudy but calm for boating on Buzzards Bay.

You are to be commended.
