Nice cool shot on them for the weekend following this one. I haven't seen 850s that cool on the extended ens since June. 12C gets down to around PHL d11-12ish.

That sounds pretty sweet....we are in August and by late in the month it's not out of the realm of possibilities for 30s or frost overnight for favored locations. West Chesterfield may even see flakes by late this month.

SLK has its average first frost on September 7th, and I know they've had quite a few in late August.

I think it was July 2001 (one of the Julys around then) where HIE fell to 31F. I think SLK hit freezing as well. I'll look for it on WU.

32F and 31F on back to back mornings in July...not bad.

SLK was 32F on both of those mornings.

Where did you actually grow up?

At that place in Auburn. 2001 was the last time my 'rents lived there. We were near Massabesic Lake. I basically had MHT snow climo, but outperformed them on mins by a mile on rad nights. My mins were usually closer to CON.

Took this today on my way home from work. This was taken near the Brass Mill Center in Waterbury around 5, looking north. A thunderstorm was moving through and brought some heavy rain and occasional lightning - there was no wind.I did not see any rotation with this feature as I followed it for a bit up Rt 69.

I apologize for the crappy resolution - my phone camera is not the greatestpost-264-0-84895100-1343867184_thumb.jpgpost-264-0-21009300-1343867226_thumb.jpg
