CoastalWx
Can someone explain why a +2 for a high and 0 for a low works out to +2 for a departure?
Ginx snewx
Can someone explain why a +2 for a high and 0 for a low works out to +2 for a departure? 74.5 daily average and they round up so instead of 1.5 its 2.
CarverWX
Great Thank you, Looks a bit unsettled. Southerly flow with the ULL to the west will likely keep us in the clouds with bouts of showers and possibly embedded heavier downpours. Probably not a washout but definitely not the best. Temps will max out in the 70's to near 80 with nighttime lows in the mid to upper 60s. How's that?
Baroclinic Zone
Wow... I had not been there since I was 12 I should have remembered that as well. Hiking up that at 17 to ski the ravine with boots and skis strapped to my back.

Baroclinic Zone
Its the end of the ski run,.that bridge I did not have the pleasure of being able to ski down. We had to hike from the base of the ravine. It was mid-May when went and all the lower elevations had melted.

moneypitmike
The low clouds and fog became way more widespread than I thought. It was SCT to BKN cigs when I left home and actually got foggy near and north of 128 until I got to work where it cleared. Still some fog here, but it looks like the sun's attempting to shinge. Not enough for any shadows yet, though. 67.0/

Brian5671
Hope you tanned up, ate a lot of Primos Pizza, and had at least 1 gelato None of the above--Manco and Manco Pizza, Kohr Bros Ice cream and no tanning (well maybe a little-but lots of sunblock--too much skin cancer in my family.) and Christ, we dropped a fortune on the rides....wish they had an "unlimited" option. Left last night at 8:30-home by 11:30.

Left last night at 8:30-home by 11:30. We made it down there in 4 hours and 10 mins leaving at 6:00am. Home took longer cuz we stopped twice. That water slide park was fun but I felt like I was walking on athletes foot everywhere. We did rides 2 nights but only allowed a certain amount of tix . There were 7 kids so we limited it, are the waves always 6-7 feet like that? Everyday they were just monsters

They did drop a bit last 2 days, but for the most part, you get your money's worth there. It's really awesome when there is an offshore 'cane. We were there last year while Katia was off the coast...monstrous waves. - Didn't make it to the slide-our guys are a bit small for that...did take them on the log flume which they enjoyed as well as biking the boardwalk every morning. I couldn't believe the waves . Just rode them all day. Tough for the smaller kids though. Had to keep close eye on them. I ran one morning on the boardwalk but didn't like the impact on legs and feet so I stuck to the roads after that. I did a 16 miler last Friday there. Lost about 7 lbs in that humidity
