I am, opened the door this morning and was hit by the wall of mank and dank, its breathtaking literally. Taking the little guy for a long ass walk try and do a ten miler if I have the time, should the classic back of knee sweat rollers, only get those on very special days like these. South Carolinians For Swamp Azz Great that Cpickles got into the jugs and mugs spirit yesterday! The Unforgettable fire blazes on.............. CoastalWx
August is working out pretty much as planned. Yes there will be periodic breaks in the heat and humidity, but the next two weeks will feature appearances of it from time to time. However, like late July a front will hang around to the chances of rain and onshore flow will be there...such as the end of the week, coming up. Mr Torchey
So 85/64 also qualifies? OK. There will be plenty more days.............its a fluid situation, things going as planned? Just a week or so ago you doubted the heat and humidity saying days like this may never show up. The goal posts get changed all the time, the atmosphere is fluid, I would not bet against the heat and humidity especially with whats going on to out west. Dont think for a second that what has happened in the midwest and heartland wont have a say come autumn and winter. This pattern will have lasting affects on our sensible weather for years to come. Like I pm'ed you last week.............September is going to ROAST. Enjoy.

Go back and find the posts about August coming in swampy and Kevin actually making reference what I said. Yes you are right, the fronts are hanging up just west and allowing for your SC style weather....we can't see these things two weeks out. Sharing some doubts as to how the weather sets up is not a forecast..it's discussing what may happen. In this case, it's allowing for warm temps with impressive dews. Some people have a hard time comprehending for some reason. You always do this. I'm waiting for these +3-4 months to show up. I suppose sooner or later it may happen. Are you being serious? LOL Like I said, it was because we were interpreting how the models looked. I know what I said. Big difference between saying may never show up and will never show up. Look where the front is...it'snear the MA/NH border were dews were mostly in the mid to upper 60s yesterday. So forgive me if I was 50 miles off..10 days ago. Brian and people north of the border are saying what dog days. That's not a bad outlook on my part..and had to do with frontal position and teleconnections. This pattern will have lasting affects on our sensible weather for years to come. LOL Especially about the pattern having effects for years to come. Dude you gotta know when to stop, you make this warm point over and over and over but then take it too far. How in the world do you know or think this pattern will have an effect on sensible weather for years to come?

On here you still can't just throw ideas out there or discuss what ifs without it coming back at you... especially if you mention any cooling or anything of the sort. Baroclinic Zone
Joe all worked up this AM? This departure and temp talk can bring the best and worst of us. Somtimes its knowing when to ignore it all from both sides rather than stir **** up. It is awful outside as far as I'm concerned. Mid 70s for dews outside of precip is for the birds and we don't see this too often around here. Looking forward to relief tomorrow.
