Ive seen it twice in October the only thing was one of the times was in the eastern townships of Quebec.. Columbus day weekend of 2000 i believe it was the other thing was there wasnt many leaves on the trees up there. Me and my grandfather were golfing and it seemed like a nice day it was around 50 and sunny then it started to cloud over and rain and by the time we got to the 13th hole we had a big gust of wind and it cooled down fast and the rain changed over to snow. We had 4 inches by dinner time and when I woke up in the morning there was 16 inches on the ground its amazing what elevations do around there we drove 10 miles down the road the next day and there was only a few inches on the ground it was amazing! Ive seen some crazy snowstorms up there but that one has to be close to number one just because of how fast everything changed

I dunno, a lot of us did have 1-2 feet of snow in October 9+ months ago. A historic feat that will probably not be matched again in our lifetimes.

As for golf in 41F weather? A few do it and like it...most don't and never would.

Heck, I've skied in sub zero temps, playing golf in the 40s is balmy.

Wow, those dews are Cuba style over SE MA. 88/74 in TAN and 88/75 in PYM. About as high as you'll see around here.

I remember this day too. I think I had a weenie 79F dew on my old Davis that afternoon.

2005 had a number of humid days in July and August. I worked outdoors and I remember just melting when I was down the Cape. It becomes exponentially more difficult to do work as dews get above 70, no matter the temp.
