CoastalWx
Nice area if you have the dough. I had never been through Laconia before. Well the place my folks have is more a cottage and was a friend of the fam so they got a good deal. The other homes in the area are insane. Laconia can be honky tonk in some areas. TalcottWx
We lost a record number due to heat issues today on the field. I cramped up the last few minutes also. Too damn humid we need a pattern changer.
RIcoastalWX
Heard the surf was awesome today in RI I heard around town that LIfestar was called for a teenager injured by the surf off of Paddy's. There were some good waves but nothing rough. Actually, the surf has been pretty consistent for the past month... averaging every day about 3 to 4 feet. There have been some days that it's been up to about 6 feet. Only a few days there has been rip currents. Usually, there are a few days with some good waves then back to 1 to 2 footers but not this summer - just consistently moderate surf. Very little seaweed until today - but even then I would still consider it minimal. No signs yet of Jellyfish. Water temps a very comfortable 74 to 76. CoastalWx
Don't see much in the way of cooler and drier air moving into SNE this week. It will turn a little cooler and possibly drier..but no good continental push.

Ginx 500 mb failure .............again, September BAKEATHON as noted to Scooter right on track...............gfs and euro once again over doing the trough. This torch will not be denied............EVER I wouldn't go that far. That same thought process failed at the end of July. I'm just stating what the models show. There is no question we cool off in the fall relative to normal. September could easily cool off. I don't know and I'd hedge perhaps on the warmer side, but not confident.
