What time do you think we'll pop those storms?

Probably after 4-5 out there. For some reasons the meso models are a little more bullish...I don't know if I believe it quite yet., but I could see especially to your NW getting a round of storms moving in as temps aloft cool off. They may make it into your area very late today or early evening. I don't see big severe, but maybe a few are strong.

HRRR run was doing pretty good last I checked with the band of heavy showers just west of the Catskills. It has precip hitting my area around 6:00-7:00 but like Scott said the instability isn't really there. If things stay organized I wouldn't be surprised to hear a rumble or two. SREF has eastern MA in like the 30% prob range but I didn't check the model run. Lapse rates look decent in central MA though so we'll see.

I think Ryan got more snow than you in the October storm. Probably like 14-15" vs 12" there.

Hard to believe his 1000 ft advantage during October wasn't enough to break the 12" mark. Must be depressing to live up there with down sloping and mesoscale subsidence as deformation snows rip the valley.

Same elevation, same latitude and i got almost double haha.

I'd bet our "storms" tonight will breezes with a couple rumbles at most. Lacking anything to get em going around here.
