You'll have wait and see, but I could see stronger storms in that area, if you so desire.

I don't mean that it's lame...but there are so many trees and hills..it can be a real pain unless you have a legit cell right there to track. I tried chasing a few times when I was younger...of course no smart phone or anything like that at the time, so maybe that tainted by opinion, but it wasn't easy. If anything, the CT valley might be a better place because it's a little more open and the higher elevations just away from the river allow for somewhat of a view. N. OF PIKE
Thanks for suggestion in charlton ma . Walking around in wakefield there are about 100 or more venders... Many w no cover . Would be fun to watch them run for cover lol
radarman
Modicum of azimuthal shear... Could be a lot worse. So far it's like a sloppy version of yesterday.

It's definitely not ideal but I do think the technology makes it quite a bit easier. If the storms aren't racing at like 50-60 mph you can find some views. We were up in the hills yesterday and managed to get some good spots to watch. In some ways it makes for a more compelling image than a flat area. Though you need much more ideal conditions I suppose.

In my limited travels of the MA...I have been west of Baltimore and I know it can open up a little there closer to the foothills. Scenic area. Yeah, there's a nice little valley there east of the blue ridge. I'm going to process my photos today... in that area I got some shots that almost look like the Plains except for the hills in the background. CoastalWx
What's the trigger for the 2nd round of storms? Well the storms near Albany are along the CF so that's basically it. You'll have to see if anything enar NJ fires, but it may take more time there because they aren't as unstable as it is here.
