I'm not even sure if the 30% is warranted. Agreed. There might be too much shear and updrafts may have a really tough time becoming organized and developing solid vertical structure. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR WEARE...OR 6 MILES SOUTH OF HENNIKER...AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ALSO ACCOMPANIES THIS STORM. Just talked to someone very briefly who said the situation in Charlemont is bad. The Cold River has swelled to like 5x or more from where it was a few hours ago!
