BOX issuing statements for N Ct on these storms already.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE

OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN AND WIND

GUSTS TO 40 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 40 MPH.

THEY WERE APPROACHING BLOCK ISLAND AND BLOCK ISLAND SOUND...AND WILL

REACH THE RHODE ISLAND SOUTH COAST BY 330 PM.

Totally different beast. This is just for any spins ups that may occur with the low moving overhead.

Yeah these type of tors are definitely different from your typical severe cells...low topped spin ups from the shallow shear going on near the ground.

This may be a Ginx to Bob and Phil look I guess with those cells.
