very low LCLs and plenty of low level directional shear. and CAPE...and likewise N-CAPE is going to be underforecast with low-level temps too cool on soundings

Yeah winds are backed now ahead of the low along with the CAPE. I thought winds would be a little more arly in places like CT when I got up around dawn, but they are SE now which is aiding in directional shear. It's probably a good idea to keep an eye on these cells.

i feel like a number of these cells are soooooo close. if there were just a bit more instability and the low level wind fields were a bit stronger.

I agree. The winds increase aloft, but that arc of rain is coming along with it, so instability will hurt. It's a pretty close call for several of these. We'll see if the next couple of hours do anything.

That's who this dude is :axe:

I'll never forget his video from May 31st, 2008 about those ''supercells'' in PA :lmao:

Therussellweatherman, why do you feel the need to go into just about every subforum, and hype your backyard? Especially after just recently getting banned. Just curious.

LOL, yeah, i heard about that dude, that ain't me, i take it as an insult to think that is me, :axe:
