snowman21
yeah im 20 miles east of hvn. hopefully i do ok... You'll be changing to rain like we usually do in Old Lyme. Part of the fun of living on the shoreline.
Baroclinic Zone
Yeah you would be in the trowal as it pivots back south again. Dam good run for Bliz and even Will. Ray gets close to mixing. How would I do down in the SE MA interior?
ENYsnow
I think this track would push some decent snow back into ENY also Looks like around 1 - 1.25" for us
weatherwiz
im so happy! just hopin i dont switch over like i always do lol Unless we were to see this thing end up more west than what the euro is showing I don't think we have to worry about mixing issues here in CT, except possibly extreme SE CT in SE New London County but even this would be brief I think. dendrite
Dendrite.. How do we usually do with these storms? It'd be hard for S NH not to do well in this system. You may not jackpot, but when does the MHT-ASH area ever do? It sounds like a huge hit from the Monads-ORH Hills-WNE higher els. I don't think we want this going much more west though...especially for Rockingham Co.
amarshall
Here comes the bridge jumping over mixing issues. Especially us in ENE.
weatherwiz
We can probably end up trimming these QPF totals some as well...won't be surprised if come Saturday night we see the models cut back on QPF.
MaineJayhawk
Big front end thump then we may mix on the backend.............. Ok, thanks ... kinda what the CMC was saying, too. Not the final solution, though, so maybe you and I can get a favorable bump back east.
CoastalWx
How would I do down in the SE MA interior? Maybe 6-10 or so perhaps a foot if it worked out.

SnowMan
Maybe 6-10 or so perhaps a foot if it worked out. Does the North Shore, specifically up in Danvers mix or stay all snow?

nzucker
Yes. I've never seen a storm that's gone from Bermuda to causing mixing issues for SNE. I still think you're going to do fine with this track although BOS and ACK definitely mix a little bit on the 12z ECM. Well I hope Ray doesn't get mixing issues. I have a kind heart after all. I don't have a kind heart, I just want to jackpot on every event I think I'll take this run though....probably at least 20" of snow for me and more for you guys
dryslot
Cool...even back this way? Will always says the SV maps are way juicier than the WSI ones though. 2-2.50" back to you we are closeing in on 3.00" Jayhawk and I, We will have mixing issues......... weathafella
Well folks, those in the know knew the pattern could deliver. It looks like it will.
scoob40
The CT. River Valley I think would be mostly snow but the issue before the House is how much ?
A-L-E-X
Let's worry about this system first What an awesome run! Looks like that SW coming onshore really did the trick If this verifies we all get near blizzard conditions with the storm center near the eastern tip of LI! weatherwiz
Well folks, those in the know knew the pattern could deliver. It looks like it will. Looks like we are about to get some serious payback over the next week or so. Looks like Mother Nature is going to pay off us very well for our patience. I'm afraid of the marine intrusion especially S and E of here if this verifies. It's shades of Feb 2010 except shifted more NE. The 850s are around -4C here at D4 so I hope I'll be OK. After last season, you should be wishing he cashes in too. As it is, looks like we'll get close to a repeat of 12/19 from last year-- hopefully with a more expansive heavy snow shield so we can share the fun! weatherwiz
Lol You have such a QPF fetish...always taking QPF totals literally...we almost always usually see some sort of cutback as we get closer...doesn't happen all the time. I'd like to see the sREF probs once we get closer on QPF numbers and totals first.
