Ginx snewx
That sucks......... It's a DNS propagation issue which should resolve today, not that I miss Debbie but having Ryan the Guilford snow lover back would be nice.

OSUmetstud
Slower and slightly stronger shortwave on the GFS at 18 hours..let's see what it does.

butterfish55
man, I cannot access from home, but work is no problem WTF.. NAM appears on board. No DNS issues here vs home.. I was having trouble too...Using Chrome on a mac. I deleted my americawx bookmark, deleted my browsing history, cookies, temp internet files, etc....then restarted the browser. Next, make sure you type in the address after your browser restarts. Then you can make a new bookmark. That worked for me.

Damage In Tolland
Can we hold off on opinions on GFS till is out. I always hate when someone says its good or bad and then it's actually opposite of what people 's 1st impressions were
CT Rain
Finally can come back on! Probably a good thing I wasn't able to log on last night given the massive amount of beer that was consumed here.
OKpowdah
trend continues for more suppressed heights in the east from the PV. SW s/w is slower though, and I like the look of the energy in the Pac NW
weathafella
Will is really good. Clearly it's the PV driving the bus. s/w in the south gets tugged around as it moves.
CoastalWx
The gfs has a litte vortmax that is compressing the height field at hr 36, but it looks a little better down south, and heights are higher along the se coast.

CoastalWx
Will is really good. Clearly it's the PV driving the bus. s/w in the south gets tugged around as it moves. It definitely is a big component. Look at what happens on the 00z euro. The PV moves west and weakens, allowing ridging to the northeast of Nova Scotia, allowing for the s/w to amplify. OKpowdah
Not liking the lobe of vorticity in Iowa. A little stronger now. It eventually suppresses ridging ahead of our storm.

weathafella
ENORMOUSLY different vs 0Z. PV further NW at 42 vs 54 for the 0Z.

weathafella
I think from the 45 look vs other runs this may be a monster on the GFS.

The s/w across the south also gets the ball rolling by pumping up heights over the se, on the euro.
