Nice. Tight gradient, but much further west than I expected. Another 15 miles west and Pete and I eek into the 1.0" zone. Chris and the other valleyh folks are already there. Congrats to all of you where the people live.

Verbatim it's a HECS for everyone east of the river and a MECS for those west. Warning snows to the NY state border

Ahhh the cautious approach

I agree with Scott. To be sure, confidence is buoyed by this EC turn of events. But it's been as mercurial as the GFS with this system.

That said, I expect we will see some snow. In fact, as all the atmospheric players are fully sampled, I won't be suprrised to see this even comes further west. Don't expect it, but won't be suprised (similarly, won't be surprised to see it tick east).

Should be a fun day following things. Be productive in the morning folks!

We don't need it any farther west. It's perfect right where it is.. Feet of snow..while SE areas have mixing issues it would appear.

I can't believe this. I'd bet we see everything else come way way west today.

It's Euro wheelhouse time

Any mixing issues for the North Shore?

Yeah--I had to go to Northampton yesterday and there was no snow at all. At least we have a little up this way. I thought the valley had picked up some as well the other night.

Not much in valley. I have about 3/4" at my house in Southwick. In fact woke up this A.M. and the vehicles were covered with a 1/4".

The Canadian op was like 250 mies east of the BM..lol. The ensembles are about 80 miles or so wnw of the 00z op run.

The euro ensembles verbatim only came about 50 miles or so west of the 12z ensembles, but there a a lot of spread to the west...closer to the BM. It has the bulge or trough signature to the west of the low.
