NorEastermass128
I think the fact that there's only 1 met on here right now, pretty much shows, tomorrow's event DC southward IS this week's only event! Wow...didn't even notice the WSW for central Virginia. Richmond under a winter storm warning for 3-6" of snow. Darn it.
weathafella
And DC south continues to get plenty of snow per this run. Even the D6 idea is gone. Gotta take a long break. See you guys in the spring. Or at least by 6z...

weatherwiz
Look at this ULJ...that's pretty sick. We should be kissing the -NAO's feet if not for this we'd be suffering through more above-normal weather and cutters probably

weatherMA
this is the whdh blog right now Lots of talk about the storm over the weekend. It's important not to commit to detailed snow amounts this early, but in general terms, this storm has the potential for a foot of snow somewhere in Southern New England. Track is key to storms of this type and size, and right now most of our weather maps show us getting some part of the storm from Sunday-Monday. followed by this If the storm stalls offshore (slight possibility since there's still a block over Greenland), we could get clobbered through Tuesday. NorEastermass128
More snow for the Mid Atlantic 144 on...I thought during La Ninas, the MA torched and we got plentiful SW flow events ftw? Guess not.
weatherwiz
Some might tell you to go eff yourself, but I'll take the high road..."that's for another thread." Well people should go tell me to go eff myself lol...looks as if that s/w would be responsible for some more snow across the OV and into the mid-Atlantic region and we see nada. weatherwiz
Yeah...this dry, seasonable cold is awesome! I guess it's pick your poison, cold + dry or warm + wet (rain wet) While normally I can't stand the cold I'm trying to change my stance on that and am trying to get myself to handle it better...my way of doing this is staying inside as much as possible.
