You should have consoled Kev the other day over his 0.5" hissy fit :violin:

The AFDs really are pretty blase about things until 2 or 3 days unless it is a sure thing... so generic... kinda like a horoscope

"Hey, it's December, maybe it will snow, maybe not..."

Unless Ekster is writing a weenie one

Right....no sense in getting elaborate at that range...it's a waste.

Trace, Thats it, My oldest went to college in waterville this am, They got close to 3" I missed out by 10 miles for the same...........:arrowhead:

Rough, got 1/4. That band was legitimately 2 miles north of me. Waterford had Moderate to Heavy probably while I had 5SM. Looks like more screwjobs to be awarded this coming weekend for you. Glad I jumped ship and went home. I'm back Jan 15th, be ready to get buried. Going to be a HUGE jan and feb for us.

What was CTWeatherFreak's Eastern name?

its been awhile, but I believe it was something nondescript like 'paule' The reason for my possible memory lapse on this is that I didnt spend much time on the board last year as I was in the middle of my relocation to ct, and I dont post much in the summer. Imagine my surprise when I logged into the 'other' board this season a few wks ago only to find its no more... I didnt even get the whole story on what went down, but thats for another forum section.

Glad to meet you New Englanders! I feel some kinship already as my mom has lived on the cape for over 30 years, where Ive made several dozen visits, although not enough, Im sure, as far as she's concerned!

Not to beat a dead horse, but I couldnt resist: axesmiley.png

Apparently, the folks at the NWS dont review that panel .

For Brewster Mass on the cape:

Sunday: Rain and snow likely. Cloudy and windy, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday Night: Rain and snow likely. Cloudy and windy, with a low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Did it occur to you that the NWS didn't base their point and click forecast off the 18z GFS?
