Chicago WX
Looks like a nice shower passing through LAF.. Enjoy it! Pessimism (or reverse pessimism) worked. Poured buckets here on my side of town. Though I'm sure LAF will report a trace. With the decent wind gusts, this might rank in third place for the best storm I've seen this year. hm8
Unsurprisingly, the northern end of the MCS seems to be deteriorating and pushing more due east where the better instability is, south of the MI border.

RobertSul
I think there's still hope yet, at least for the southern couple counties. Looks like reformation, some reorganization in northeastern Indiana, heading a little more northwardly.
Powerball
I think there's still hope yet, at least for the southern couple counties. Looks like reformation, some reorganization in northeastern Indiana, heading a little more northwardly. Agreed. The intense storms with a MCS never get pass the WAA wing (pseudo warm front), which is the extended line of storms spreading eastward into Ohio. Whatever we see here will just be some general strong t'storms. Anything's better than nothing. Just got a moderate downpour with thunder from those cells that popped up overhead.
