Hail signature showing up near the Brooklyn/Queens border around LIC, Queens.

Been there for a few scans yet Dual Pol HHC doesn't show hail, just Hvy Rain. I'm sure once HHC goes red or a report of hail comes in they'll issue a Warning on the cell, assuming it stregthens.

FLASH FLOOD WARNING

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY

123 PM EDT WED AUG 15 2012

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON NY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

QUEENS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK...

WESTERN NASSAU COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK...

KINGS (BROOKLYN) COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK...

* UNTIL 315 PM EDT...

* AT 121 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED

FLASH FLOODING FROM AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WARNED AREA.

THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO 2

INCHES PER HOUR. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF

HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES...AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS

AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE

ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS

SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO

AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY

DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL

ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED

ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
