I hope it holds together and makes it to Queens.

Storms are firing on the boundary fronts to our west.

Those usually barely move and just rain themselves out over a small area.

Maybe they move this time or maybe more storms can fire further east. We'll see in the next hour or 2.

Yea. Wasn't expecting much today. Saw some decent cg strikes over NJ from the building I was in in manhattan.

Hoping the worst on Saturday clears before 8/9 at night...although seems the front has slowed and we may see some.storms arouns then.

Wow really? I live by the RAC in piscataway and only got .15"

I'm in Piscataway, and didn't even get .01" today. Just sprinkles with the thunder off in the distance. Gotta love the nature of summer storms, just a mile can make all the difference in the world. On Saturday I got crushed with almost 2 inches of rain from an isolated storm while New Brunswick and Edison got almost nothing.
