Thursday and Friday with Friday being the hottest. If no clouds and storms muck it up I would agree.

The NAM is basically the "if everything goes right" scenario. Blending the 00z Euro/12z NAM would suggest upper 90s to 100 here tomorrow.

Say goodbye to any moisture left in the ground! Temp at my house is 95.0.

It will be interesting to see where we end up. Need 10 more degrees to get to the forecasted high. Normally it is tough to do that unless it's cloudy and then clears out or there is serious WAA, but this airmass is very dry so who knows.

Local met reported 96/36 at the TV station earlier this afternoon...a T/Td spread of 60!

Welcome to Arizona. Looks like you will be nudging the century mark once again tomorrow. I'm too far east to get the real blast furnace, shouldn't get above 96 here.

Hit 93 at DTW, #25 90+ day. Most other locations were slightly cooler, many hanging on in the upper 80s.

LOL 93 when everyone else stayed in the 80s. Its a themes that has been going on ALL summer (ie DET has already had FIVE less 90F days than DTW). Its starting to look suspicious. Stebo, any chance they need to recalibrate the thermometer at DTW?

The Tulsa afternoon AFD mentioned 116 or 117 possible in Tulsa tomorrow if things go right. Nuts.

Yeah...and it really could have happened today when considering the antecedent air mass and conditions. But an outflow boundary from storms in KS came through, which held the high temp to 112. A nice, cool day. :)

Their all-time high is 114.
