IsentropicLift
I've heard that sometimes MCS's can weaken if the outflow boundries get to far out ahead of the convection. Not sure if this is true, but for most of the day you couldn't see much of outflow boundry on radar and now one is quite evident, so perhaps the outflow is seperating from the rest of the line. In any event, currently as dark as night hear with rumbles of thunder.

earthlight
Unbelievable winds here just now. Large branches flying everywhere. Lightning strike extremely closeby. TEWR radar shows some pretty extreme stuff just west of here. Logging off for now.
RutgersWx92
Nothing terribly impressive here. It did get quite dark at the beginning but the bark was worse than the bite. Some gusts of wind at the beginning but nothing strong (maybe 30-35 mph max) and a decent amount of thunder/lightning and moderate to heavy rain. Certainly nothing severe. winterwx21
So far maybe a 35 mph gust with lght rain and some lightning. Not too bad so far. It poured here. I'd say some gusts as high as 40mph. Lots of lightning and some very close strikes. Best storm Piscataway has had in quite awhile.
