Seems the country is in the midst of a pattern change, much more precip becoming available, ridge moving west, AK vortex in its death throes. We are in a high humidity regime, dissipation of heat thru convection. It will not be long, already getting dark .

Noticed the declining light, looks like August is going to be August, normal highs above normal lows due to clouds and higher dews........what say you Mr Nino?

Yep, should be a volatile time coming up. Next weekend could be stormy again.

Just glanced at the nws 7 day, felt like i was back in SC.........30-40% chance of tstorms everyday, its that time of year. One eyed monster might be going night night, time will tell.

Another batch of heavier rain trying to intensify over LI sound and S CT coast...looks like more to add to the totals for E CT...and perhaps the E half of MA if it can hold up.

Yep, seems the front slowed big time, that thing was screaming at me at work. Cool to watch the progression from the horizon to me in minutes.

Just seeing this now...thank goodness I took care of my chores outside of town earlier today. That's the major road out of town to the west. West Stafford is kind of low lying and prone to this. I wish I hadn't gotten tied up with something because it was coming down pretty good for a while!
