IND has 0.84" for LAF yesterday, which looks a bit wonky going by the hourly observations. Regardless, totaling up the one hour amounts since last night, 2.48" total through 8:00am this morning. Wasn't expecting that much rain. Very nice. Other rainfall totals in Tippecanoe County through 7:00am this morning, via CoCoRaHS observers...

West Lafayette 4.9 W: 3.93"

Otterbein 2.3 SE: 3.60"

West Lafayette 5.1 WSW: 3.47"

Lafayette 2.2 NE: 2.34"

Lafayette 2.2 S: 1.37"

1.40" of rainfall at IND this morning through 9:00am. Brings the August total to 6.44". As it stands right now, the 8th wettest August on record for Indianapolis (since 1871). Nice turnaround. :)

WL coop recorded 3.28" of rain, which brings the monthly total to 7.79". That's the seventh wettest August on record there, which is mind blowing considering the preceding dryness.

Today's rain is the wettest August day at that site since Aug. 30, 1981 Aug. 27, 1987.

Edit: Sorry, looked at the wrong date on my list.

Had a generous amount of fog this morning up until 7:30am. High 86° today was on target as forecast. Lake breeze came in settled the temperature around 81-82° most of the afternoon. Still below normal for the month.

PTK and VLL have but that's about as far north as I look. FNT hasn't?

FNT Has hit 90+ 4 times but MTC and PHN has not (According to the Observations). So Addison Township is considered KPHN. Yes St.Clair County has not recorded 90+ So I typed in Lake Orion it has hit 90+ 3 times. Im assuming its using PTK data.

Why are you using PHN and MTC when FNT/PTK/VLL are all closer? Doesn't make much sense, especially PHN which is 2 counties away, plus Trent just proved that PHN has hit 90 also.

I know I used Romeo as my area through Accuweather for historical weather since its basically right next door. Accuweather does not recognize Addison Township. The only thing I can think on what there using then is MTC Selfridge. I thought it was PHN.
