hm8
BTW your aviator is classic. God Bless that Dexter EF3. That thing was the supercell that could. It called its own shots that day. Yup. Being in Ann Arbor it was especially rememberable....It made a hard right turn and was heading right for the city,if not for other convection in the area it could have easily made it to the campus. icebreaker5221
One of my friends called me to say he saw a tornado in Lowell, MI about a half hr ago. He's not a meteorologist, but usually pretty reliable. Based on description, sounds like it was rain-wrapped. Definitely some rotation based on radar, no warning tho. wisconsinwx
These last three days have been as active severe weather wise in the Midwest and Ohio Valley as any period this summer. Four or five different severe clusters ongoing in the Eastern Lakes and OV right now.
IWXwx
I just returned from a chase to the southern part of the county. I was jonesing for a storm. I only had dime sized hail and a 45 mph wind gust, but saw some cool cloud formations and scud was flying.

Four or five different severe clusters ongoing in the Eastern Lakes and OV right now. This is not really related to this event, but I went back and looked at the past few months and can only find 1 tornado warning in Indiana since May 2. That is hard to believe.
