Baroclinic Zone
55F here. 12z NAM has ticked W from 6z. Also looks like an in inverted trough hanging back into SE MA. SREF's bring the 12h 0.25 like to about PVD/BOS. 12z GFS pretty vigorous with this s/w. Brings the slp basically over the outer cape. Boatloads of rain too. Sultan signal... Baroclinic Zone
GFS brings the comma head right over BOS. Too funny, just as I posted as well. Look at the follow-up s/w as well. If this were winter we would be dancing in the streets.

I noticed it yesterday on the GGEM. Now it's showing up on the NAM and GFS. Not sure what to make of it. Rides the baroclinic zone off HAT. Looks to me like tonight sets up the follow up system. NAO is near neutral right now but is forecasted to tumble in the next couple days.

CoastalWx
Really? You want it to rain? I am good with a downslope dry slot. Yeah would like a little rain, but I think most of it is to my south.
Baroclinic Zone
PVD currently only up to 73F off a low of 63F. Running about a -10F for the high and -2F for the low.

dendrite
BOS at 71 off a low of 63. what will it take to get them at 1.9? With a low of 63 a mean of 71.0F will do it.So 79/
ag3
BOS at 71 off a low of 63. what will it take to get them at 1.9? A -3 gets Boston to +1.9 territory. 71/63 is a -7 for Boston. If that holds, that would bring Boston down to a +1.
Bostonseminole
78F outside my house. Mostly Cloundy, not sure if I will get rain or not.
Baroclinic Zone
12z GGEM very robust with the follow-up s/w for later in the week. Track looks similar to today's but upper levels are stringer, thus more precip. Not sure what to make of this system right now.

CoastalWx
Watch how that western comma head wall develops. Euro is pretty robust over SE MA.
MainePhotog
Quite a few of us last two weeks From my own averages since 2003, my area is just over 3" departure for rainfall for the month. I am sure these maps are generated from a longer time period.
