I was 6 in 88. I remember the Pistons winning the title and how my parents house had no AC.

I slept in my parents basement much of that summer, no AC for us. We lost in the finals in 1988, we won it in 89 and 90. One of the finals game against the Lakers it hit 104 degrees.

No AC. My mom bought a new Toyota Tercel in the spring of 1988...she decided against AC...what a horrible mistake. Remember sleeping in our cellar at least a couple times that summer. Lots of pool time...

I was 11 back in 88. I remember swimming about everyday of the summer. IIRC we had more 100s that summer than this one so far, but we still have a ways to go this summer.
