klw
Looks like one group went to our north and the worst of the other is going to our south towards Allenson.
Allenson
Possible mauling on tap for you. It's very still & stifling and surprisingly, no rumbles but the radar looks ominous. Dog is agitated too. Always a sign. Be back when I can, lol.
CoastalWx
Wow what a damaging day for SNE.
Allenson
Rumbles & flashes now. Heaviest looks to actually pass north per the last frame or two.
mreaves
The storm rolled through here with some heavy rain, strong winds and wicked lightning. Power went out for about two minutes and my little instant pop-up shelter in the back yard has met a disastrous end. Need the rain but it may have fallen so hard it just ran off. Allenson
In it now--pouring, howling, flashes, booms, trees bent. Good stuff. More behind it too. Nice line coming together from eastern VT up through northern NH.
MaineJayhawk
Looks like a middle-of-the-night wake-up call is incoming.
wxmanmitch
Nice line forming off to my NW out near Utica, NY. I'm still a bit concerned about the cold pool from earlier convection putting a damper on these storms as they move SE. There was a cell out ahead of the main line and it collapsed and died as it approached the Albany area. Hopefully as convection often becomes more elevated at night, it will survive the trip SE and give me a good soaking storm.
Allenson
Calming down now but there looks to be another one headed for us. Dog's a wreck. Looks like a middle-of-the-night wake-up call is incoming. Sure looks like it's all headed toward Maine. Hope you folks get the needed rain without trees ending up on roofs and whatnot. Out!
mreaves
I don't have a rain gauge but the water level in my 14' diameter pool rose about 2". Had to go out and let some out.

weatherwiz
Not too often you see instability increase after dark here MLcape increased to 2000 J/KG and LI values decreased to -7C. Unfortunately though forcing is rather weak...oh well.
HIPPYVALLEY
Pretty solid band of rain from Albany N to Montpelier, hopefully some of that moisture holds together to give NW Ma. a soaking.

Dsnowx53
Did you guys see the SREF for Thursday? A bit out of its range obviously but it's still showing very impressive parameters...high helicity with great moisture and decent CAPE. free_man
It was supposed to be a nighttime deal for most of us. Radar looks good for some regular storms overnight, maybe a few strong ones too.

weatherwiz
I wonder if the nys stuff gets e ct maybe even your hood I think it stays mostly north of us where the better UL divergence is and we're a bit far removed from the better forcing. Let's just hope the end of the week can pan out.

weatherwiz
Yes sir. Haven't had a chance to look at much else yet. Ahh. I only looked at a few things on the 15z run but those graphs certainly are impressive. 21z run should actually be pretty close to that timeframe by now...time to take a look. wxmanmitch
A lot of sheet lightning in my west sky with some distant rumbles. Cell has been warned east of Albany for gusty winds. Worst of it looks to go just to my north, but I still may get a decent storm here by 12 AM. Hopefully, I can pull of a quick 1"+ rainfall as we're desperately dry. andyhb
21z SREF is not quite as intense as the 15z run, although it still pops a sig-tor area across parts of the northeast Thursday.

I'm hoping that we get something here! So many times this summer, I've watched storms just disappear on the radar before getting to our neck of the woods. We had a tiny amount of rain last night but the garden is dry, dry, dry.
