MLCape >3K j/kg here, 0-6km shear > 40 kts, and ML lapse rates ~6.5 Pretty solid. Meantime, my boy Murphy and his law showed up today... UMass radar was vandalized recently, and we were forced to repair damaged fiber optics cables. Of course they decided to give out in the last 24 hours, with no time to repair. So no data.... Yep, i usually rather have the big CAPE instead of shear here since high shear can mean strong s-sw winds. Today is big CAPE and good shear aloft.
