Mr. Windcredible!
I'm guessing since most places were still 70ish at midnight that it nixes most peoples chances at record low maxes today?

CoastalWx
This is why I harp and make fun of Kevin when he is looking at the euro and the colorful thickness maps. Thicknesses are like 568 down there with temps near 60.

Damage In Tolland
Nice, I will be over 1.25 this week, grass just blew up yesterday , no more brown either. This little bit just evaporates by noon tomorrow..and certainly doesn't soak in like a couple inches of rain...but it saves me from watering for a 1-2 days anyway..hopefully Monday and Tuesday deliver on the severe threat

Damage In Tolland
The potential was there... Why did you think the gfs was on crack? Euro has been showing this off and on for a couple days now. Just didn't seem like this would happen with the high pressing down from the north. In the winter this would have smoked NYC and left us with the disc of the sun visible. When yesterdays 12 z Euro kept the state dry I thought it was locked. I was wrong

ORH_wxman
What an awful July that was. August warmed up and was nicely humid I recall 2nd coldest July on record that was here...only 1992 was colder. I liked the lack of heat, but the number of rainy days was a bit much.
