Maybe we can get some home cooking stuff later in Aug and Sept.

The past 1.5 years have been about as bad a stretch as I can remember since the late 80's regarding the tropics and winter. It has been good severewise, but obviously that is not really my thing.

We'll get some action this year in terms of coastals.

I guess we are still paying for the '95-'96 and '04-'05 tropical/winter couplets, respectively.

This has to be one of sne's warmest and driest (boring) years on record.

Well the last 8 months or whatever certainly have been imby. God awful.

Even Irene was relatively lame around OUR area relative to potential/expectations....again, OUR area....so the CT contigent doesn't cyber rape me.

The BOS area was in a more tame area where areas north and west got flooded, while south and southwest got winds. Hard to get strong winds here unless you have a strong TC screaming north into HVN or so.

That's better...but keep going..what in the sam hell was so Earth-shattering about August?

Irene caused some excitement. Not often you get a TC moving into SNE. Even Betha in '96 was exciting to me, and that wasn't damaging or anything. JMHO.

E MA has been such a screwzone since the winter of 2010 relative to the rest of the region....the '10-'11 winter was good everywhere and best in CT.

It's been Kev's dream....winter '09-10 porked ene MA the most, '10-'11 was CT centric, the tornado was out west....Irene was in CT and screwed e MA, and last winter placed the epicenter of the suck in e MA, again.....complete with Halloweenie FU.

Got to end soon.

And to top it off....scooter always tells me what a surplus of snowfall we have seen over the course of the past 10-15 years, yet my area is about normal.

If you're a noose vender.

Obviously meant '10-'11.

I guess it was CT centric, but I was in heaven that winter so I won't lose sleep that parts of CT got 10" or so more than me. If it were like '03-'04 than I would be upset. We'll get ours, might even be this winter.
