Do you prefer Whistler or Blackcomb?

I'd say blackcomb overall because I feel like a lot of the mid mountain at whistler is too cramped and crowded whereas at blackcomb there are nice tree and bump runs.. I really like the symphony and bagel bowl areas on whistler though.. Blackcomb glacier is awesome too as the terrain is so steep yet the snow stays really fresh because it is low traffic.. I did get disoriented in the fog there however and got a little too close to a ~150' cliff for my liking.

Thank you upslope.... orographic lift is a wonderful thing.

18-inch storm total this morning from the synoptic (4") part followed by the upslope part (14").

This sequence just about sums it up... deep snow.  Thank you orographic lift.

Its hard to get much better than today... well, last year's 36" in 36 hours event was better.  But after a couple weeks of snow without thaw, then a dense 3-4" followed by a fluffy 11-14" brings conditions up to prime levels.

Some really great photos there PF!

Stowe is on my list for next year.  I hope I catch it at a time like that!  Northern VT upslope powder snowboarding?  Yes, please!

Personally, I'll be at Ragged this Sunday or Monday and probably Wildcat later next week (Perhaps Thursday?).

Awesome.  I knew it would be good, but just couldn't get out of work.  Taking some vacation days next week though.
