Tomorrow will be sort of a tough forecast for this area. NAM stalls out the surface boundary just north of here as a weak wave of low pressure rides in from the west. If cloud debris/convection can stay away long enough we'd have a legitimate shot at 100 again. Chances are there will be enough cloudiness/precip around to keep temps from getting too hot. DVN playing it safe and going with mid 90s is definitely a good idea.

Looks like we'll continue to string 90 degree days through the next 7 days as we never cool to below 90.

While I was out picking my sister up from work I noticed a bunch of people lining up outside for the Tigers game downtown, and across the street from there at the Fox Theatre people were in line for the Nicki Minaj concert...ouch. I hope they had lots of water.

Damn glad to see the dusty old useless record broken. Records are meant to be broken and now we have 100 degree new landmark for today. Cool stuff.

Now this upcoming winter lets break Dec 1 1974.

I didnt want to break the record, think its cool to have that old triple digit record have lasted so long. But realistically, I was hoping for 100F (to save the record) or 102F+, so Im glad it hit 102F. Dont like tying records, its sort of cheap lol, as the newest date supercedes the previous record even though both are equal, almost like its unfair to the original record

Agree 100% about Dec 1, 1974...bring it on!

Wouldn't be too sure about that.. Clouds have increased very quickly over the area here..

Probably need about 2 more hours without cloud issues to get it, longer if clouds become an issue. Adjusting for extreme drought conditions around IND, I see potential for a few more 100 degree days in the next 10 days barring a deluge or drastic model flips.
