If your east of 16th St and N of Rhode Island Ave, you an inch of rain*.. Places up by Tacoma Park have near 1.5*

*Based on KLWX and TDCA radar estimates.

My unscientific guess is those totals are a bit low

LWX is taking a nice summer nap

The National Park Service shut down Beach Drive and other roads in Rock Creek Park around 8 p.m. due to flooding.

Their special weather statement is pretty mildly worded. Probably needed to hit the heavy rain angle.

Filled in over me, up to 0.58" with a peak rate over 3"/hr.
