That outflow boundary really gave the storms a nice, but short-lived, boost when they were over DC

Quite possible that it didn't rain at DCA.

Maybe .01?

Wow. Twice in just a week or so. I've been stuck in an interior room all afternoon and have no clue what is going on.

Yeah, pretty insane. Brings me to about 4.5 inches since last Tuesday. 5.09 on the month. Unfortunately, dealing with some leak issues as well. Water just seems to find its way in with those insane rates. Luckily the sump pump hasn't quit on me...

Were you around Dupont? I got caught in the storm heading from Keren Ethiopian place to the metro. Still am not dry.

yeah i walked from work on mass ave a block to the circle then to the north entrance all in pouring rain. need south entrance back!

I felt ridiculous without an umbrella. I appeared to be the only soaking wet person all the way from Dupont to Glenmont. The umbrella salesman outside the station was trying to forcibly sell me one even though I was going INSIDE.

Yeah same. Tho there were a few others soaked for my ride. Not as soaked maybe. I never have an umbrella as I usually wait it out but had to get home.

I would lean closer to the GFS... NAM has been running too cool when scattered clouds or mostly cloudy conditions are overhead with a west wind (at least in the Southeast). Lower 90s is a good bet unless a storm forms up early.
