usedtobe
Highs so far: 94 DCA 93 IAD 93 BWI How high will we go? I'd guess we'd beat yesterday's 96.
sauss06
Everything seems to be dying out with the loss of sunlight- no surprise. Spotty showers into the overnight hours and some rumbles should do it for the remainder. As we were heading home early evening from Glen Burnie, we hit those storms. Attimes traffic was pulled over from the ehavy down pours. We saw a nasty ass wreck in the opposite lane, not sure if i was on 83 yet or not, it was near a rest stop.I was in and out of storms the entire way home. MN Transplant
How high will we go? I'd guess we'd beat yesterday's 96. I don't know. We're bouncing around even more than normal. 92 on the 2pm ob with tiny showers popping inside the Beltway. Today was never supposed to be too hot, but that doesn't seem to matter this summer. MN Transplant
12z Euro is more pronounced with a nice coolish NE flow by the weekend. The more of this peak climo period we can burn off with a nice pattern, the better.
Disc
Warned storm just moved through here with a gust of 52mph. Not too shabby and gave us a good downpour.

Ian
so far every cooldown has been too cool from model land.
JamieOber
Speaking of the Euro, what's up with all the rain Thurs/Fri - is that plausible? I thought from PA to MD was done with rain once the front clears. I am hoping it's right given how dry we've all been.
MN Transplant
Little cell headed to DCA. Got clipped by it walking home. Still less wet than I would have been with full sweaty sun.

FXW176
Seems like the past few days we have been warmer then forecast by a few degrees... or am I incorrect with that statement? Observed the same out here by IAD. Max and mins.
RodneyS
Observed the same out here by IAD. Max and mins. Saturday's DCA forecast was too high -- 89 and 74, I believe, vs. actuals of 88 and 71. That's how we eked out our only negative departure since June 27th.

We had a 10 min downpour yest afternoon that just added to the misery for the swim meet last night. This morning is not much better.
MN Transplant
so far every cooldown has been too cool from model land. Even if this one is modeled too cool, it still is going to be a reprieve. Could have a nice string of negative departures.
