SOUTH CENTRAL KOOCHICHING COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM CHISHOLM TO 5 MILES

NORTHEAST OF ISLAND TO CUYUNA...AND MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF MANY LARGE TREES DOWN ACROSS ITASCA

COUNTY.

WEST TWO RIVERS RESERVOIR...MOUNTAIN IRON...WEALTHWOOD AND

MEADOWLANDS AROUND 835 PM CDT.

LEONIDAS...FRANKLIN...ZIM AND PROSIT AROUND 840 PM CDT.

EVELETH...GILBERT...VIRGINIA AND MALMO AROUND 845 PM CDT.

MCKINLEY...WRIGHT AND MELRUDE AROUND 850 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE

ACROSS ITASCA COUNTY. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

just looked at local obs on the north shore as well as duluth (WUG and ASOS). hate to ask, but when that bow echo smashes into the lake breeze off Lake Superior, does that kill off the winds, or maybe even introduce more lift to produce some hail or worse as well?
