Some decent gusts, but no rain, thunder or lightning here. I thought I saw some rotation in the clouds too, but not sure. Didn't make much of a difference either way...I got some cool shots as the line approached. Pretty consistent with these trans-PA lines this year. They're spent by the time they reach western jerz...

LOL At this thing strengthening as it gets closer to the coast. Still 30-40 mph winds in Vineland now.

All I can do is  lol...Line really reformed nicely, looks like most of the NJ coastline will get hit. Someone give bri a heads up!

We might get some of that backend rain if it doesn't slide off to the NE...

Temps dropped from 89 to 73 in the last 40 minutes or so...blessed relief!

It's funny, I'm sitting here in Vineland watching the lightning ramp up, on the backside, lol.

Prime example today of just how unpredictable storms could be , even just 30 minutes out.

Several reports of severe in eastern PA.....line appeared to be holding strong and severe reports seemed certain in western NJ.

The line then fizzles out, (very few reports of svr in western NJ) and then restrengthens back as it's halfway through Jersey.

1 dead, 9 injured in the Pocono Raceway lightning strike now, per 6abc.

Thats quite the jump from 3 injured :(. Sounds like these people were not as lucky as the people in Wildwood and Wilmington.

45mph winds with the gust front then 30 ish with the actual line and .38 total rain from the line. Very satisfied with this storm.
