Parents said lots of small branches down but nothing big... that they can see... but they aren't going to go roaming the neighborhood right now ;)

Their tree-sheltered anemometer gusted to 30

They're also up to 2.01" for the day in the CoCoRAHS gauge...

I Think if you want it to stay together, you have to say the opposite. :P So in that case, I hope the storm falls apart!

Very true. Every time I put the umbrellas down outside, it's the kiss of death. Time to put all my garbage outside to attact the storm.

Just drove through the storm coming from Middlesex into Mercer County. On Old Trenton Rd, in East Windsor (I think), ran into hail; crazy, driving rain; winds, trees bending. I was TERRIFIED! Got by Mercer County Park, all the power was out and Old Trenton/Edinburg road was flooded up to the top of my wheel wells. Never want to go through that again :(

Great storm here in Monmouth. Frequent lightning/thunder with plenty of CTG strikes, wind gust just shy of 40mph, torrential rains. Looked like a tropical storm for the first few minutes of it. Rainfall 1.18" in less than 15 minutes.

Can't complain at all here this summer. It's been very active. By the looks of the pattern, plenty more convection ahead.

Reports of damage all throughout Freehold, trees and lines down everywhere. PD is notifying the local tv and radio stations to make an announcement for all people to avoid the boro if at all possible. Power to the entire area is being shut down due to infrastructure damage, PD reports it was possibly a tornado. There wasn't any circulation at the time, just repeating what I'm hearing over the scanner.

County dispatch just reported all access in and out of the Boro is closed until further notice, numerous mutual aid responding, having to cut their way into the Boro. Local FD's already on scene can't get to some places it's so bad. Getting all of this from the Monmouth County feed.

I grew up in the area. Flooding was normal during hey rain. Hankins road to old trenton were among the worse. Use to trout fish by Edinburg.

Lots of reports from mercer and freehold. Lucky for Allaire that cell stay north west. It looked nasty from the porch.
