DarthDoppler
Any good CTG strikes? The storm that's over him had formed just about right over me in Berks Co......had a ton of CTG up here (and very heavy rain), I'd imagine he at least had some. (lol that storm did a nice little dance over my location before moving south east.)

njweatherlurker
Just drove through the storm coming from Middlesex into Mercer County. On Old Trenton Rd, in East Windsor (I think), ran into hail; crazy, driving rain; winds, trees bending. I was TERRIFIED! Got by Mercer County Park, all the power was out and Old Trenton/Edinburg road was flooded up to the top of my wheel wells. Never want to go through that again
dryslotted
looks like the last gasp about to pass overhead for my area. some more rumbles and flashes. no wind, nothing close to severe all day (all season, really), but picked up a nice inch of much needed rain... Isotherm
Great storm here in Monmouth. Frequent lightning/thunder with plenty of CTG strikes, wind gust just shy of 40mph, torrential rains. Looked like a tropical storm for the first few minutes of it. Rainfall 1.18" in less than 15 minutes. Can't complain at all here this summer. It's been very active. By the looks of the pattern, plenty more convection ahead.

PD is notifying the local tv and radio stations to make an announcement for all people to avoid the boro if at all possible. Power to the entire area is being shut down due to infrastructure damage, PD reports it was possibly a tornado. There wasn't any circulation at the time, just repeating what I'm hearing over the scanner.

Local FD's already on scene can't get to some places it's so bad. Getting all of this from the Monmouth County feed.
