CT Rain
One thing we can guarantee is November will be like +18....we can't get a below average November anymore. Just like march isn't a winter month?
ORH_wxman
Just like march isn't a winter month? Yes...the only difference is what I am saying is true. Kevin just makes stuff up. I'm obviously exaggerating, but November has been a real furnace. I think the last negative one was 2008 but its been such a torch for over a decade. Only 3 years since 1997. I guess December made up for it. But we'll be paid back I'm sure.

I see a 95 Nov incoming, hey did you see Box updated their http://www.erh.noaa.gov/box/climate/bossnw.shtml monthly snowfall winter totals in an easy to read format finally, geezus last year looks brutal on paper. Yes I saw it. I wish they would have updated the ORH data that I submitted to them for the late 90s and early 2000s...but they never did. Though I know they have it somewhere in the database. There are still some errors in there, but hopefully they keep updating it.
H2Otown_WX
August may be one of those months that are tricky. Everyone has 2002 in their mind but there is the chance it won't be nearly as warm. I guess it could be warmer if we have a nina like August, but I'm not in the torch camp quite yet. Would August '06 be a possible analog? That August was pretty wet I recorded 6.
CoastalWx
Would August '06 be a possible analog? That August was pretty wet I recorded 6.07 August rains many times are due to tropical remnants so that is highly variable too.I was thinking more from a temp standpoint...Augusts can sometimes become cooler during developing Ninos. It just depends of the atmosphere can behave like one, or is there a Nina hangover.

You serious re 95? Whats your thinking? I need to see the character of this niño before committing and of course, the GOAK. Still onthefence other then to say it will be better than last winter. Mr Torchey
73/62 sunny +6.3 on the month, looks like between +8 and +9 at the end of week one here, not bad for July and nearing the warmest climo period of the warm season.
powderfreak
The house was pretty darn cold this morning...I had to turn off the fans at some point last night from filling the bedroom with low 50s air. I love actually feeling cold when you step out of the shower/bathroom in the morning. None of this stepping out into a sauna stuff. Another sweet night of sleeping weather. 53/53 with dense fog at 6am.

CoastalWx
I think the lack of rain chances will change later next week as the front tries to move back north.

Some of those AWOS sites seem to go crazy with the td readings (too high with high tds and too low with extremely low tds). RPJ and LOT are two more.Maybe the runways are surrounded by LESCO'd lawns? dendrite
yeah i could see it being off - but even so...77/78 or 80...still awful I got used to it while at APF, but at least there was a constant breeze there and everyone had A/C. I feel for those in the interior deep south that just bake in the dead air sauna for months on end.
eekuasepinniW
I can't even fathom what a dew of 80 feels like. I've felt 79 and let me tell you it's AWESOME. You can almost trigger a tiny thunderstorm just by rapidly opening an exterior door to an air conditioned building.
