A great July evening here in New England. Hard to believe dews are in the 40s and it feels like September when the rest of the nation is baking.

Summer does not get much better than this. Here's a pic from about 20 minutes ago in Stowe, looking towards the town's eastern border which is up on the 3,000-3,500ft Worcester Range ridgeline. I'm always so focused on Mansfield to the west, but these hills with summits up to 3,600ft can hold their own.

Models look decent for a chance of some rain late week or next weekend so happy valley will possibly be able to have running water. It's not a definite but a good chance it seems somewhere in SNE.

Most summers this part of the state is pretty decent rain magnet so hopefully your are right.

Gardens and having very new sections of lawn have given me a drought fetish. Then I've got two farmer neighbors who I talk weather with and we all just stand and shake are heads saying how we need rain. lol

70/54, it really has been an exceptional run of weather. Almost everyday has featured a great breeze. Today was no different.

Great pic...

That's a nice hike up Pinnacle over on that side. :)

?

Warmer and more humid weather returns it appears. It may increase rain chances which will mute it, but it looks like warm and humid wx..maybe even hot at times. It's possible a front may stall at times to the south and a wave develops like the GFS has.

We've had no uncomfortable heat here so a "return" of the torch to me simply implies more seasonably warm Summer weather. Once we get through the next 2-3 weeks, the statistically warmest part of the year, it's all downhill. Oh, thanks for taking the bait!!!! Happy Monday!!! BSEII rolls on!! :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun:
