Ian
Ian, what are your thoughts on storm chances in the next 2 days? Thanks not really seeing tomorrow. wednesday may be a bit better odds tho the timing looks iffy for now. i still like the pattern overall going forward i think. may have to wait till the next ridge push or backing off. 384 hr 18z gfs looks sweet. As it always does, I like wednesday only because we've been getting storms as of late, tomorrow I see nada. I think July in general could be good to us like the end of June was. MN Transplant
Our pilot is yakking about "big boomers" near DC and referring to possible alternate arrivals at IAD or BWI. At my school the pilots at least had to take Intro Met and Aviation Met.

MN Transplant
Funny you say that, i was just looking. Warned for 80+ Saw it mentioned in the Lakes forum, but most don't venture over there. That the last thing Duluth needs after the flash flood. Dangerous too, since the entirety of the Twin Cities bails up north during holiday weeks. CoastalWx
HRRR turns that into an interesting complex that rolls into the DC region in the early evening. Yeah I saw that. If that complex develops a decent cold pool...would think it has its eyes on the MA. I guess we'll see what the next few hours bring.
