looks like these storms are moving due east with no southward movement. im just hoping these storms dont stay in the same location and fizzle out by the time they reach me, like a few weeks ago when that line developed on the island just fell apart as it hit the LIE

I am thinking of driving north to be in them.

New Providence here, got scraped by the southern edge of the cell in Morris county. Quite a bit of thunder, some wind but only a few drops of rain. Looks like the hole in the line might pass right over here unless it fills in.

My parents are up in New Providence, filling me in. It's kind of funny, that is a pretty narrow split too.

Northeast NJ has been the screw zone, anything that approaches evaporates or weakens. Can't even get a downpour.

It's been like this all year, and last year, and the year before that...

Rather than being bitter about it, I'm happy at least some in the area are getting hit hard today.

LOL...can only laugh...the storm was coming right for me and went to my south at the last minute...then the heavier rain went just to my north...just getting some light showers at the moment

I'll agree that it has stunk up until today but extreme Eastern Bergen is getting pummeled with anything and everything and has been for the last 40 minutes. Crazy out there right now.

nothing yet just some light rain and occasional thunder/lightning waiting with baited breath......either that or it wont happen for me again today :) hahaha

I am starting to lose hope, either they won't move south, or they will weaken greatly as they move south. LOL Are you still somewhat hopeful that we could get hit by the storms?
