TheTrials
You are posting about it, so you must care I see most of Long Island well into the 90s already. Still plenty hot. I like seeing the heat mongers fall short of their hopes and dreams, but its actually affect on my life is ZERO. Go big blue.
Sundog
oops True but Newark is all by itself right now. Almost everyone else in the tristate area is still in the mid 90s. Still that doesn't mean others won't get there over the next couple hours. EDIT: what is up with those random stations in the upper 90s in SACRUS' post? Well at least the major stations are still in the mid 90s.

Clouds are going to make it tough for the 2pm obs, although in between hours some may go over.

Isotherm
97.5F here in Monmouth County, hottest day by 3 degrees. It's difficult to get my area into the upper 90s, so this is very impressive.

By the way, clouds starting to move in, but NOT completely filtering out the sun, 99.7, so 2 days of 100+ here in Elizabeth this season.
